Square Root Planning

Square Root operates within the traditional Treaty 7 territory in southern Alberta. We acknowledge the peoples of the Treaty 7 region including the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprised of the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Îethka Nakoda Wîcastabi (including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations). The Calgary area is also home to the Métis Nation within Alberta (including Nose Hill Métis District and Elbow Métis District).
